6 THINGS THAT SET CANADA’S LARGEST CAR WASH, GAS & CONVENIENCE SHOW APART

Convenience U CARWACS

The 2017 Convenience U CARWACS Show, March 7 & 8, Toronto

It’s Canada’s biggest trade event for anyone and everyone involved in the convenience, gas and carwash industry. The 2017 Convenience U CARWACS Show in Toronto is just around the corner. This national showcase has traditionally attracted over 5,000 attendees and 300+ vendors representing well over 400 national and international brands and manufacturers.

If you’re from Ontario, it is a must-attend event. For western Canadian business (including those who participated in the Fall CARWACS show in Calgary) – this show takes it to a whole new level and will feature products, manufacturers and innovations that weren’t on display in Calgary.

CTM will be there. And while we’d love you to come visit and spend as much time at our booth as possible (to learn how our integrated full service design and engineering services will help you build the best facility possible) – there are many other great reasons to attend.

We’ve done some digging to find out what’s hot, and what to expect. Here are six compelling reasons to attend Convenience U CARWACS 2017 in Toronto:

1. Learn about the payment systems of the future.

Actually, make that the present. Following the needs and buying habits of consumers (led by tech-savvy millennials) the industry is witnessing a move towards innovative new payment options that go beyond cash and credit. Two years ago, only a handful of companies were offering alternative payment solutions. We’ve been told to expect several new entries in this category.

Discover why these customer-driven technologies can no longer be ignored, and what options are available: from Apple Pay to Tap & Go Solutions. There is a lot of whispering about brilliant new smartphone payment and loyalty apps that will be unveiled at this show.

 2. This is where the newest products, trends and technologies are showcased.

As Canada’s premier industry event, suppliers and manufacturers typically wait until the Toronto CARWACS event to reveal their latest and greatest. A source who has a long history with the show estimates that nearly half of exhibitors will typically come to the show with something new.

We’ve been told there will be new vendors and products that reflect the trend toward bigger, more diverse c-store offerings. Not to mention branded food programs and franchises from south of the border.

3. A chance to see – and try – an array of new and top-selling equipment.

It is one thing to read about a pump, carwash system or piece of food service equipment. It is another to see it in person and interact with the technology. The Toronto CARWACS show always attracts the leading equipment manufacturers – and the sheer size of the Toronto’s Congress Centre allows them to bring in full-size, working equipment.

Again, this is one of the advantages of attending the Toronto show. Only a small percentage of manufacturers display at CARWACS in Calgary (where they are typically represented by a distributer). In Toronto, you get to talk directly with the manufacturers and see the gear first-hand. To put it into perspective, the area dedicated to equipment exhibits in Toronto is as large as the entire conference space in Calgary!

4. An impressive range of seminars.

Several topics of interest are being addressed in this year’s seminars: developing a strong business plan, robbery and theft prevention, leveraging lottery opportunities, choosing the right food service model… the list goes on. The CARWACS Car Wash tour is always popular, but get there early as seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Networking.

With over 5,000 delegates from across the country, it is a great chance to compare notes and share ideas with your peers, and to expand your business contacts.

6. A chance to meet knowledgeable, professional service providers.

A successful business requires more than just great products and technology. CARWACS attracts several professional consultants and service providers who are dedicated to helping you grow your business.

Because a successful business begins with a functional, inviting building and site plan, we suggest you visit the CTM Design team at Booth #414

Enjoy the show. We hope to see you in Toronto!
